The idea behind Analyzr is to create an off-site hosted website analytics application that also functions as Alexa does for the comparison and viewing of any given website’s statistics.
Of course, this means direct competition with existing services like Google Analytics and other well established products.
But the innovation comes from the sharing of certain statistics to the public. This would include such data as hits, unique visitors, and any other non-personal information the webmaster of a given site wishes to share. This would create an extremely accurate competitor to Alexa and provide a valuable resource for potential advertisers on a website.
Analyzr would be based on a subscription model. Subscribers would be presented with more detailed information about a site than normal viewers. They would still only be given information that the webmaster of a given site confirms they have access to, however.
In order to provide incentive for webmasters to allow access to their information, a revenue sharing model would be in place. Webmasters attached acounts are given a % of the money made from subscriptions based on how often their statistics are accessed by subscribers.
